I’ve finally received my friend, Thao and Martin, wedding video from like 2 years ago after many emails asking for it. I was surprised the CD was ok after a long journey from oversea. Last time I sent a CD to a friend in Sacramento, the CD was broken when they received it. Well, thanks Thao, the CD was great! I just realized I missed out on some fun stuffs that day – a little monsoon wedding and milkshake.
After watching the CD I came to realize that it doesn’t take a lot to make a great wedding video. It was recorded by one of our friend with a regular non-professional camcorder. It’s not so much about the man behind the camera like Steven Spielberg or a professional camera that’s so heavy that needs to be on a tripod but more about the people in your wedding. I was more impressed with the content than the actual professionalism of the video, and the way it was put together was just really creative. Especially the Viet camera men, they make really cheesy videos and very poor presentation. Great job Thao! I am waiting to see the Switz movie you’re working on.
